Coloring Contest; Collaboration Art Work

This is my second attempt at coloring this image. I went very dark this time.

I had some reservations about making this an evening scene but I didn't want mine to look too close to other people's versions.

The two women aren't wearing gowns. They look more like they're getting ready for the day and she's upset about something. Then I thought that they could be getting home late...this would explain the regular outfits.

Oh wow, the lighting of the candle in this looks really awesome! If there is any type of lighting I cannot do, it's this type! That's amazing how you got it to look. It must have been fun to do this type of collab as well.

I like coloring things. I did the first version without looking at what others had done (many people colored this line art) but my lighting wasn't very original—too standard a direction. I even put in beams of light but removed them. I know there will be similarities but I still want to be original.

Both versions look good to me, but I liked this one in particular. (And it's not often when people do the candle-light type of lighting.)

Great job! What I like the most is your attention to the colored lighting, not just the candlelight but the ambient light of a different tone as well.
